Laboratory testing on animals - Director Michael - 01-12-2015

Question received: From the moment that we are aware of a laboratory or pharmaceutical industry, e.g. specializing in cosmetics, using testing on live animals and consequently causing suffering, should we refrain from buying those products?

Answer: It is not required to refrain from buying such products.

You can however try to influence your government to enact civil laws requiring that product testing with animals be done as humanely as reasonably possible, and only when there is a real need for the sake of the safety and well-being of humans.
